Tuesday was the first Naaldzang meeting of the new year! Knitters present: Myself, RedSamur, and Poezemadam, who started things off by showing us her beautiful knitted snowflake:
I was enamored with this glistening white yarn, and wanted some for myself, so today I headed on over to Veritas to see if they had any. But, they didn't. Drat! I did not walk out empty handed, however... *nudge nudge wink wink*
RedSamur (who thoughtfully brought along her Simply Knitting magazine for us to browse) was knitting away with some lovely dark purple-ish yarn:
I busied myself with my pinwheel baby blanket, which grows and grows. And amongst our laughter and chatter and coffee, Poezemadam worked on this very pretty sweater:
Snuggly and colorful, too!
It was good to see my fellow knitters again; we missed you, R and Jan! Hope to see you next month. Happy New Year everyone, and be sure to take advantage of the January sales--there are some great deals to be had on some gorgeous yarns!
